While rounding towards the end of her shift last night, Singmi, a CNA in our MST department, became concerned when a patient told her “I don’t feel right.” Singmi quickly alerted a nurse, Tasha, who checked the patient and discovered a potentially life-threatening issue. Tasha called a RAT, and the patient was quickly stabilized. The great instincts and quick actions of these two people meant that the patient’s issue was solved before it became a bigger and more serious situation. Thank you Singmi and Tasha – your care and skills saved the day, and we appreciate how deeply you care for your patients on a daily basis!
