As you know, SCL Health’s brand is transforming this year to best support our patients’ desire for coordinated and connected healthcare services. Through this effort, we want to increase awareness, drive consumer loyalty and make it a whole lot easier to find and engage with us.
And like many transformations, this one provided a learning opportunity. After reviewing Platte Valley’s current brand, we realized we needed to make a small change to show the difference of a secular hospital within a Catholic healthcare system. Platte Valley’s new logo now has this important distinction while still being very similar to all other SCL Health care sites. It is simple, easy to recognize and elevates Platte Valley along with SCL Health to illustrate a regional presence and range of services.
What does this mean for us at Platte Valley?
In local advertising and at our care site, Platte Valley will use its new logo. Some signage will change as well as marketing materials, letterhead, business cards, forms, etc. In regional advertising where Platte Valley is named with other care sites, the primary SCL Health brand will be used.
This distinction in our brand by no means minimizes our enthusiasm for our partnership with SCL Health. There are many great benefits to being part of a larger healthcare system and we’re excited about a new year with greater collaboration, coordinated and connected care.
Why is Platte Valley’s logo a little different than other SCL Health care sites?
The affiliation between Platte Valley and SCL Health is structured in a way that respects the identity and integrity of Platte Valley as a nonprofit, community-based, secular organization while preserving SCL Health’s ministry and Catholic identity. This structure allows for collaboration, as well as connected and coordinated care for communities we serve.
Platte Valley’s logo illustrates this distinction while still being very similar to all other SCL Health care sites.
