Joyful Journeys is an outreach program in Adams County that operates in low income, high residential areas focusing on at-risk youth and their families. There are two donation boxes in the hospital; one is at the lobby doors of the main hosptial, the other is at the lobby doors between Medical Plazas 1 & 2.
They are requesting donations of new or gently-used children’s toys. If you can’t donate toys, but would still like to help, below is a list of their other needs. Joyful Journeys also needs volunteers if you would like to donate your time.
Joyful Journeys is in need of both new and used:
- Christmas decorations
- Non-perishable food
- School supplies
- Stuffed animals
- Stockings & Stocking Stuffers
- Coats, hats, scarves, and gloves
- New, sealed or unopened hygiene products (full size or travel size)
Your donations are tax deductible, and you can request those forms from Marketing. If you have any questions, please call Charmaine at x1482 or email her at firstname.lastname@example.org.
