PVMC is happy to announce that the Board of Directors has approved a 2% wage increase* for eligible** employees on their May 24 paycheck! In order for you to receive your raise, you must complete your annual Healthstream competencies by May 1. Upon completion, print a copy of your Healthstream transcript (under the “My Transcript” tab) and submit it to your Department Director.
Although formal performance appraisals are not required by PVMC for all employees this year, your director or manager has the option to give you a performance appraisal at any time. They also have the option to withhold a raise for failure to participate in the appraisal and for other reasons, such as not completing departmental competencies on time, not having a current CPR, ACLS, PALS, NRP, or other required certifications, etc. Upon your completion of requirements, your director or manager has the ability to approve your raise; however, raises will not be retroactive.
If you have any questions, please contact Human Resources.* If you are at the top of your pay scale or so near the top that you do not receive the full raise, you may receive a one-time lump-sum payment. **Some employees, such as pool/PRN personnel who are paid a pre-set flat rate, those whose rates are frozen, those with certain employment agreements, etc., are not eligible to receive a raise. Pool/PRN personnel who are on the regular wage scale (who are NOT paid a pre-set flat rate) may be eligible for this raise, but they are not eligible for the one-time lump-sum payment.
