Mark your calendars: An upgrade to Epic is scheduled to take place on Saturday, September 9 – Sunday, September 10.
SCL Health will be upgrading eSummit with Epic to take advantage of the latest Epic functionality and to help ensure we can continue to provide the best and safest care for our patients. This is the first in a series of regular communications that will keep you informed about upgrade highlights and benefits, key dates, training, and what you can do to prepare. Weekly communication on this project will begin appearing in your email inbox on Monday, July 17. We will also summarize the week’s eSummit Upgrade communications in the ICE.
The upgrade is currently in testing mode, and associate training will begin soon.
This upgrade will help us continue to optimize eSummit and stay current in the ever-changing field of healthcare technology. The upgrade is critical for SCL Health for meeting government requirements and helps us to continue providing the best care for our patients. eSummit 2017 Upgrade will continue SCL Health’s efforts to provide consistent service across care sites through standardization with special attention to the people, processes, culture and technology of the organization.
