In your day-to-day life, if you happen to see a broken sink, a wall with chipped paint, or a sign with a missing letter, you might pass by and think “I should tell someone about that,” but maybe it’s been a while since the last time you entered a work order. Or, maybe you’ve never needed to enter one before. Anyone can take the initiative and enter a work order.
So, how exactly does one access the work order software and enter one properly?

1. Go to the Landing. On the left side of the screen is a list of links. The link for “Work Order Entry” is near the bottom.

2. This is the Work Order Entry screen. Fill in the boxes with the information regarding the work that needs to be done. Be as specific as you can, and make sure to provide your name and contact information in case the Plant Services team needs to follow up with you.

3. When you’ve completed the form, hit the submit button. You will receive a confirmation email when the work order is filed, and another email when the order is completed.
We appreciate the efforts of our staff in keeping Platte Valley clean, tidy and well maintained. Remember, if you see something, say something! Finally, if you observe an issue that is an emergency, such as a toilet overflowing, please call Plant Services directly instead of entering a work order.
