If you missed the opportunity to hear Matthew Sanford, the nationally recognized speaker and founder of Mind Body Solutions, speak last June, you’ll get another chance. Matthew is returning to PVMC next week to inspire and teach you techniques you can use every day for yourself and your patients.
A Mind-Body Approach To Healing and Recovery with Matthew Sanford
Tuesday, May 3, at 6 p.m. in the Conference Center
Using Matthew’s real-life story as a template, participants will explore the nature of trauma, loss, disability and the meaning of healing other than to cure. They will gain practical insights into how a more integrated mind-body approach can positively impact recovery, outcomes and quality of life. Participants examine the mind-body nature of disability and illness and what it means to maximize healing throughout one’s lifetime. This presentation also introduces some basic mind-body strategies to manage stress and well-being. This is a FREE inspirational talk brought to you by the Platte Valley Medical Center Foundation.
