An official groundbreaking ceremony for the new Platte Valley Medical Plaza in Fort Lupton will be held this Thursday, March 19, at 11:00 a.m. The groundbreaking celebration marks the beginning of construction for Platte Valley Medical Center’s second off-site medical office building. The new Medical Plaza will be located in the northeast corner of the Safeway retail center parking lot at Highway 52 and Rollie Avenue. The project is scheduled for completion this fall.
“We know that close proximity to health care services is important for you, your family, and your business,” says Platte Valley Medical Center President and CEO John Hicks. “We are excited to bring new physicians and expanded access to quality medical services to our Fort Lupton community.”
The one-story, 9,750 square foot building, will bring the Ft. Lupton community new choices in doctors with the addition of two family medicine physicians from Eagle Ridge Medical, Occupational Medicine services, and Urgent Care. In addition, there will be approximately 5,000 square feet for lease to other similar medical businesses. Health Connect Properties, Inc. is the project manager and leasing agent for the remaining space and the architect is Studio D-H Architecture and the general contractor is BVB General Contractors of Brighton, CO.
