What’s your view of your workplace, the culture, your team and manager? What’s working well, and what areas need improvement? Only you can tell. And one of the best and easiest ways to make improvements is to share your opinions in The View from You associate engagement survey. This is your opportunity to confidentially share your view. Every associate’s survey will make a difference.
Watch your SCL Health email starting on Monday, July 10
Press Ganey (the organization that conducts the survey) sent an email message on July 10 to all associates who have been employed for at least 90 days. The message contains a link to the survey. Take it early before time gets away! Each link only works once, so please do not share your link with anyone else. The survey window will only remain open until midnight on July 24 (Mountain Time). You can take it from your work computer, your personal computer or a mobile device – in English or Spanish. SCL Health had great participation last year; let’s do it again!
Types of survey questions
This year’s survey includes fewer questions, and is intended to “take the pulse” of the organization since last year’s full associate survey. In addition to the associate engagement questions, it will also include Culture of Safety questions for everyone, and Nursing Excellence questions for Registered Nurses.
All voices will be heard (confidentially)
This annual survey is the best measure of associate engagement at each care site and location, and how much progress we’ve made in the past year. After the 2016 survey, work teams used the feedback to create action plans that made direct improvements. Individual survey results are confidential. Responses are grouped together by work group, but if a group has fewer than five respondents, the data will be included within the functional area or site location totals.
Your thoughtful opinions will make your work environment, your care site and our entire ministry a better place to work and to deliver and to receive care. Please take the time to complete the survey and share your view to make improvements in the work environment!
