Last Friday, our Chief Operating Officer Kurt Gensert snapped this photo of Dennis Bradberry from Respiratory Therapy escorting a patient to Medical Plaza 2. She was having difficulty locating her husband after her outpatient procedure. She wasn’t sure where she was in the hospital and couldn’t remember where she parked her car. Dennis personally helped find her husband (in the Spectrum waiting room), locate her car, and then walked her to the exit.
Kurt wanted to be sure to recognize Dennis for his time, attention and caring. Sometimes these simple acts of kindness can seem so small in the course of our everyday duties. We might think “it’s just another part of my job,” but these small courtesies mean so much to our patients and visitors.
Thanks Dennis for taking some extra time to help this woman re-orient herself after her procedure. You may think of it as no more that what is expected of you, but we appreciate that you took the time to make her day easier.
